For each year a specific programme will be proposed to ensure the widest coverage of all relevant topics on the core theme of the Chair and to disseminate the results beyond the stakeholders directly involved. In the first year (a.y. 2014-2015) the course will be on the Innovation Union Strategy; in the second year (a.y. 2015-2016) the focus will be on the Unitary protection for intellectual property rights; in the last year (a.y. 2016-2017) of the chair the topic will be about technology transfer and cooperation agreements in the perspective of a single innovation market for Europe.
According to the interdisciplinary profile of the Chair, workshops, seminars and lecture series will be organized each year on topics concerning economic, business and legal aspects of innovation policy, intellectual property, technology transfer and antitrust. These activities will involve the participation of scholars and experts from a variety of Institutions and with different scientific backgrounds as well as civil society and practitioners from the private sector. Workshops, seminars and lecture series will provide a forum to the community at large to learn about most recent and advanced studies on the topics of innovation, intellectual property and competition law.
